Family researcher, storyteller, and keeper of a multi-generational history.
Born and raised in Fremont, Ohio, Terry E. Dudley served in the U.S. Army and later built a career in environmental and engineering work related to energy and infrastructure projects.
Inspired by Alex Haley’s Roots, he began researching his paternal ancestry in 1977. Over time, family records, historical research, and a DNA match helped him connect the story across generations.
He wrote the trilogy to share what he discovered with family members and readers curious about the past.
